How Purchasing Our Software Works

Purchasing the right to use our products is different from purchasing a product at a store. As opposed to sales in retail, no material objects are involved; we do not ship any boxes or CDs. Instead, when you make a purchase, you receive the right to use one or more products according to their license terms. To facilitate your exercising of this right, we send you an electronic token, called an activation code, which allows you to use our software in accordance with the rights you purchased.

Before you purchase our software, we recommend that you download and evaluate it to see if it works right for you. We offer a free evaluation for a period of up to 30 days to help you make a good decision with your purchase. If you decide to purchase our software without having made the download, you will need to download after having made your purchase. The paid-for version is the same as the evaluation one; the time limit is removed by applying the activation code that our system will supply to you after your order is processed.

If you pay by credit card, you can go from download to activation in less than 15 minutes. If you pay by a different purchase method, the time to activation depends on how long it takes the payment to arrive and be processed by the reseller. The payment receipt and order processing is performed by a reseller company separate from Bitvise. Except for higher volume purchases, Bitvise does not process direct orders, and Bitvise has no influence over the order and payment processing of its resellers. Resellers offer their own customer support for order-processing related issues. However, Bitvise is attentive to complaints if the customer support of a reseller is found wanting.
