WinSSHD License Terms

End User License Agreement. Before downloading or purchasing, you must read and agree with the terms of our WinSSHD End User License Agreement. Click the link to open it and read it. If you disagree, you must not download or purchase WinSSHD; if you have already downloaded it, you must destroy all copies.

Summary. WinSSHD is licensed per machine; a fee needs to be paid for each machine on which WinSSHD runs. The right to use WinSSHD on an individual machine is portable; if you remove WinSSHD from a machine on which you had the right to use it, you can install and use WinSSHD on a different machine. A purchased right to use WinSSHD is permanent and, unless extended, applies to all WinSSHD versions published by Bitvise within 12 months of your purchase.

Support and Upgrades. Upgrades and technical support for the WinSSHD installations purchased are free for up to 12 months after your purchase. Subsequent support and upgrades are available annually at 20% of the then-current price for the installations you have purchased.

Activation. In the current WinSSHD version, each WinSSHD activation code is tied to an installation ID unique to the machine WinSSHD is being used on. See our WinSSHD Activation FAQ to learn more about the activation process.

When purchasing 10 or more licenses, you can opt for a simplified activation scheme where you can use an activation code freely without ties to installation IDs. Instead, you need to keep a count on your installations. See Large Scale Deployments.
